Visit Chambly, Québec, Canada 🇨🇦 - a charmi Visit Chambly, Québec, Canada 🇨🇦 - a charming little town about 50 km south of the island of Montreal.
Better known for it's creative talent in artisanal beer production, Chambly also boats a historic fort dating back to 1609, a @parks.canada protected section of the #RideauCanal that welcomes kayakers, stand-up paddlers, and boaters, and winds through beautiful paths flanked by budding vegetation.
Downtown Chambly has hardly the feel of a big town and rather hums with the quiet, slow tempo of small-town Québec. Flush with colourful, historic architecture, cute cafés and riverside restaurants, verdant parks, and numerous lookout points, from one of which you can witness the mesmerizing operation of sluice gates each time a traveling yatch wants to cross over from canal to river, this is a town not to be missed during your travels in and around the greater Montreal area. It's a town as charming as they get, south of the Saint Lawrence River. And that's my honest, unsponsored, uncensored opinion.

These windmills of change remind me of one fact of These windmills of change remind me of one fact of life:
We often don't change until we are forced to.
Even muscles require stress...minor damage...in order to grow and become stronger. Of course, having periods of rest between the stressors is also vital to muscle recovery and resilience.
What does that teach us about life? About our missions here as humans on Earth?
That we must be open to failing, again and again, in order to learn and grow. The path is about the learning and the growth; or as Lao Zi put it so well: the journey is the destination. And our rest, our self-care in the in-between, is also vital to our well-being and resilience.
